The crowd looks up to Barbara Singleton, on Wednesday, September 12, speaking about 19-year-old Humboldt State University student David Josiah Lawson unsolved homicide which occurred in April of 2017.

Barbara Singleton, a Justice for Josiah advocate, rallying for changes to be made by the CSU Board of Trustees to better protect students of color after the murder of HSU student Josiah Lawson. This rally was held at Humboldt State University on Wednesday, September 12 during the one hour of free speech in the quad.

On Wednesday, September 12 a crowd starts to form to listen to people speak about the death of Josiah Lawson which has been unsolved for over a year. The Diversity Is Not Inclusion Rally also spoke out to the universities to hold themselves accountable for a large number of deaths of students of color.
